Lead Business Systems Analyst - International Logistics

The Lead Business Systems Analyst (BSA) serves as the primary interface between multiple business partners andtechnology teams to deliver complex, high profile technical solutions that align with business initiatives. The LeadBSA plays key roles across many disciplines within the software development lifecycle, including requirementsgathering, documentation, analysis, design, and testing. While mentoring and training fellow team members,the Lead BSA will continuously assess and improve tools and processes. The Lead BSA is responsible for aligningproject delivery with technology and business strategies. Primary Job Functions This section describes the primary /essential responsibilities that this job performs.1. Partner with the business to plan and scope business initiatives.2. Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, site visits, business process descriptions, usecases, scenarios, business analysis, and task and workflow analysis.3. Evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, and decompose high-levelinformation into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding.4. Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyzeinformation needs and functional requirements and deliver the following as needed: functionalrequirements through the Business Requirements Document (BRD), use cases, Graphical User Interface(GUI), screen and interface designs.5. Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyzetradeoffs between usability and performance needs.6. Perform system set-up, configuration, admin duties and testing.7. Suggest best practices and opportunities for improvement through automation.8. Be the liaison between the business units, technology teams and support teams.9. Develop user manuals associated with the applications and conduct user training as needed.10. Maintain reference documentation. This documentation includes definition and source of dataelements.11. Supply junior and mid-level business systems analysts with guidance and support as needed.12. Seek to improve the team's productivity by assessing existing and developing new processes andprocedures in conjunction with industry best practices.13. May make employment decisions and/or recommendations on hiring, improvement plans, transfers,promotions, corrective actions, terminations, pay adjustments, etc.14. May coordinate and manage the work of employees by directing members of the team to meet thearea's goals. Audit regularly to ensure standard operating procedures are being adhered to.15. May manage employee performance and assist employees in making improvements to theirperformance through coaching, mentoring and administering performance reviews. Recommend,plan and/or implement employee training and skill development activities.16. May audit, maintain and ensure employee time-keeping and absentee records are accurate.17. May communicate company and departmental issues and goals and facilitate employee growth anddevelopment through weekly team meetings, regular individual employee meetings, coaching,training, and company-offered learning opportunities.18. May manage resources to optimize equipment, facilities, employees, methods and materials.19. Demonstrate the Company's Core and Growth Values in the performance of all job functions. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
