WASTE WATER UTILITY OPERATOR
Doherty Staffing Solutions, in partnership with our client in Arcadia, WI is currently interviewing for a Waste Water Utility Operator. This is a temporary direct hire position with the opportunity of permanent employment.
SUMMARY
The Waste Water Utility Operator is responsible for performing a variety of waste water centered tasks. The starting pay for this position is $12.87/hr.
Work Hours:
Monday-Friday 6am-2pm

WASTER WATER UTILITY OPERATOR DUTIES
The Waste Water Utility Operator duties include:
o Responsible for the efficient operation of the: DAF, final screen, flow meter, sampler and all pumps in the wastewater department. Follows all company standards so our daily goals are met.
o Responsible for the polymer feed to the DAF. Will adjust dosage to optimize the performance of polymer to flow, and ensure that company standards are met.
o Responsible for checking the bi-products trailers and tankers for cleanliness and loading product to specifications to maximize product value and the maintaining of all records.
o Communicate daily to the Water Resources Supervisor on bi-product issues, water usage issues, recommendations and corrections.
o Responsible for reading and recording water, wastewater and electric meters at the scheduled times.
o Responsible for cleaning the wastewater department, offal area, and the daily maintenance of all equipment.
o Responsible for the pumping of lungs and blood and the cleaning of the pipes
o Responsible for keeping the work area in a safe, clean and orderly manner at all times.
o To assist live receiving and sanitation departments as time allows.
o To act as backup for the afternoon and night shift employees on PTO.
WASTER WATER UTILITY OPERATOR REQUIREMENTS
The Waste Water Utility Operator requirements include:
o MUST HAVE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION
o Ability to comprehend simple instructions and to apply common sense
o Valid forklift driver's license
o Valid driver's license
o Ability to communicate verbally
o Strong mechanical skills
