The Process Analyst is responsible for the development, maintenance and performance of yield procedures at the Arcadia plant.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned .
1. Develops and maintains procedures for yield test.
2. Conducts yield tests and provides analysis of test data, including daily hand deboning of parts for optimum yield determination.
3. Develops and tracks yield standards for the plant, analyzing and explaining variances from standard.
4. Recommends action plans to increase yield and improve value yield.
5. Assists in determining bird utilization versus production schedule.
6. Audits processes based on Infinity trend alarm results, customer/consumer comments, new products/processes.
7. Assist with process improvement projects by conducting testing and providing recommendations on methods, techniques, and equipment based upon analysis of test data.
8. Assists Live Operations in conducting breed testing at the plant.
9. Coordinates training of testing methods as needed.
10. Coordinates samples between Sales/Production/Transportation.
11. Assists with Six Sigma and Lean projects.
12. Assists with procedural document creation and development.
13. Assists in the development and new products and actively supports the introduction and implementation of new products and processes.

4. Recognizes and acts on incidents and safety risks. Consistently practices, and enforces safety work habits and drives those habits throughout the organization.
Bachelor''s of Science degree is strongly preferred
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Demonstrated ability to read, write and speak English
Good written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated excellent working knowledge of math (addition, subtraction, division, multiplication and percentages)
Excellent working knowledge of SPC and understanding of trend alarms
Good problem solving abilities
Good analytical skills
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to work any shift
